Pre-Order Goods 1.0.5 Release Notes

Pre-Order Goods 1.0.5 contains enhancements and new features. 

WARNING
Version 1.0.5 is a significant upgrade from version 1.0.4 or earlier. The module has almost been entirely rewritten, thus this version upgrade contains breaking changes which may require revisions to store themes. Smarty variables which worked in version 1.0.4 or earlier will no longer work with version 1.0.5.

Enhancements

1. Total rewrite to add support for PHP versions 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3
2. Install guide and code samples have been overhauled based upon the CubeCart 6.5.6 Foundation theme
   1. If upgrading from an earlier release you will need to revise your store theme based upon the latest code examples
   2. The latest code examples have been refined and streamlined, providing greater flexibility for customizing to specific requirements.

Fixes

1. Resolve an issue with the module now correctly showing enabled on the modules overview page
2. Rename the module on the modules list
    

Upgrade Instructions

1. Delete the Preorder_goods directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the files found in the downloadable zip file.
2. Navigate to the preorder plugin page and check your license is valid. You will likely need to reapply your license key with this update
3. Review the install guide tab documentation, apply change as directed
4. Navigate to "Manage Hooks --> preorder goods" and press the SAVE button.
