Pre-Order Goods 1.0.4 Release Notes

Pre-Order Goods 1.0.4 contains enhancements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade to 1.0.4 as soon as possible.

Enhancements in 1.0.4

1. reworked some of the code used by the module to make it more effecient
    
2. Removed the preorder goods menu item, it's not required
    
3. When loading a product edit page the preorder tab is no longer the default tab.

New Features in 1.0.4

1. Changes to the database tables allow the plugin to easily identify preorder inventory
    
2. A new  hook call has been added to the plugin. When an item within an order is a preorder item, it is now prefixed with the word "PREORDER - ". This makes it easier to see items within an order that are preorders.
    
3. A new menu item has been added to the store admin menu. "Preorders" can be found within the admin "Inventory" menu.
    
4. A new report page has been added within the plugin which will highlight all preorders that have not yet been fulfilled. The report has been designed to work with the Custom Order Status module should it be installed. Please note that this report will ONLY show preorders placed AFTER version 1.0.4 of the plugin has been installed.
    

Upgrade Instructions

1. Delete the Preorder_goods directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the 1.0.4 files found in the downloadable zip file.
    
2. Navigate to the preorder plugin page and check your license is valid.
    
3. Navigate to "Manage Hooks --> Preorder Goods" and press the SAVE button. This step enables the newly added hooks use within this version of the module.
