Europe VAT 1.0.19 Release Notes
Europe VAT 1.0.19 contains fixes. It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible.
Fixes
- Since it's release, the EU VAT module had been intended for use by UK based customers. this meant some of the code in the module was specific to the UK and did not always work correctly for stores outside of the UK. This release of the module brings a new setting within the module which allows the stores based country code (2 character ISO code) to be defined. This allows the module to work for any EU location rather than just the UK.
Upgrade Instructions
- If you have made modifications to the TEMPLATE FILE found in __template_files take a backup of this file before moving to step 2
- Delete the "europe_vat" directory and replace it with the directory found in the downloaded ZIP file
- IMPORTANT Review the module configuration, define your country code. Failure to add this will stop the module from working correctly.
- If you took a backup of a custom TEMPLATE FILE, put this back into the _template_files directory, overwrite the existing file.
