Customer Rewards 1.0.13 Release Notes
Customer Rewards 1.0.13 contains fixes and enhancements. It is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible.
Fixes
- Under some conditions points may not be considered spent until long after an order had been placed which would allow a customer to reuse points. this has been patched
- If a customer used the back button to navigate from the payment system back to the order to make order modifications it would cause the amount of points reportedly earnt on the order to be incorrect. This was a display issue only and the correct points are allocated. This is now resolved
- Within the customer account Reward Points tab, the "Discounted This Order" column may have shown an incorrect discount total. This was a display issue only and has been corrected
- Within the customer account Reward Points tab, the "Cash Earnt This Order" column may have shown an incorrect total. This was a display issue only and has been corrected
Enhancements:
- The rules for earning points and spending points have been adjusted. A customer only gains points when an order is in the COMPLETED status. This is to prevent a scenario where a customer places an order, gains points, redeems them on another order and then cancels the first order. It would create negative points balances for the customer.
- Added new columns to the Reward Points tab in the customer account to show the order status and provide details about the meaning of the status. This makes it easier to understand balances.
- Modified some of the hooks used by the module and general code improvements
Upgrade Instructions
- Delete the customer_rewards directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the files found in the downloadable zip file.
- Navigate to the module from the store admin area and validate that your license key is Valid
- Important: Navigate to Manage Hooks from the store admin area, click on Customer Rewards and press SAVE
- Important:Validate the steps noted in the install guide, failure to do so may result in the module not working correctly.
