By Category Security 1.0.6 Release Notes

By Category Security 1.0.6 contains enhancements and new features. It is recommended that you upgrade to 1.0.6 as soon as possible.

New Features in 1.0.6

1. the module now supports two security models. The default is the "opt out" model. Everybody is allowed access to everything unless a rule has been configured to deny access. In this release a new model has been added "Opt In" which works by denying access to everything unless a rule has been created to grant access. The behaviour can be defined under the plugins general settings.

Upgrade Instructions

1. Delete the By_Category_Security directory from your stores modules/plugins/ directory and replace it with the 1.0.6 files found in the downloadable zip file.
